WAWA Hacked: Offering Free Credit Monitoring

WAWA, the popular convenience store that burst onto the scene in Orlando in 2012, now has well over 100 stores spanning the state of Florida has suffered a cybersecurity breach. WAWA is scheduled to open an additional eleven Florida stores in the Spring of 2020.

They announced the breach on December 19, 2019. According to a company statement, Malware has been running in its system since March 4 and was present in most stores by April 22, 2019. Among the information collected was cardholder names, including credit and debit card numbers and expiration dates.
